The OM-150CE Westerly Electro Acoustic Guitar represents Guild’s moment of glory when it shifted base from Hoboken, New Jersy, to a more spacious factory in Westerly, Rhode Island. To add to the sense of nostalgia, the headstock of the guitar is stamped with the Chesterfield emblem, which reminds one of the vintage models manufactured by Guild. The solid Sitka spruce top delivers sound with extended harmonic content. This orchestra model guitar is suited for strumming and fingerstyling. Its cutaway design facilitates access to the upper frets. The Indian rosewood fretboard offers sounds rich in fundamentals, given that the tonewood absorbs stray overtones into its oily pores. This guitar is equipped with the Fishman Sonitone pre-amplification and pickup system to cater to the requirements of on-stage performances.
